John W. Paradee
Director
John W. Paradee, a member of the firm's Dover office, practices in the areas of commercial litigation, commercial and residential real estate transaction work, general business and corporate practice, and administrative law. He was admitted to the Delaware Bar in December of 1989, the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware in January of 1990, and the U.S. Supreme Court in April of 1997.
Mr. Paradee is a member of the American Bar Association, the Delaware State Bar Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association, the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association, and the Terry/Carey Inn of Court. Mr. Paradee has served as legal counsel to the Minority Caucus of the Delaware House of Representatives (1991-1993), the Majority Caucus of the Delaware State Senate (1993-1995), and the Kent County Levy Court, the governing body of Kent County, Delaware (1995-1999).
Mr. Paradee has been recognized as one of Delaware's "Top Lawyers" in Delaware Today magazine, selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America, and acknowledged by Chambers USA's Client Guide, America's Leading Lawyers for Business, as "the man in Dover for land use".
Mr. Paradee graduated from the University of Virginia in 1985 with a B.A. degree in Foreign Affairs and History. He graduated with a J.D./M.B.A. dual degree from the University of Richmond in 1989.
