Bankruptcy Creditor Litigation
As a corollary to our corporate and commercial litigation practice, we regularly represent creditors who find themselves entangled in large commercial bankruptcies filed by corporate debtors in the Delaware Bankruptcy Court. We advise and represent creditors regarding their rights in filing claims and litigating objections to those claims, pursuing reclamation rights, seeking relief from the automatic stay to pursue or perfect rights, and litigating or defending adversary proceedings. We recognize that the bankruptcy process can be frustrating for creditors who are drawn into it, and we provide practical advice and representation to help minimize creditors' losses resulting from the bankruptcy of their clients, vendors or business partners.

Intellectual Property and Patent Litigation
Delaware's Federal District Court enjoys a national reputation for the trial of patent infringement and similar cases and, consequently, a disproportionately large number of such matters are filed in Delaware. Litigating in that court requires, by rule, the use of local counsel. Prickett, Jones lawyers, having tried many cases in that court, use their experience to facilitate the involvement of outside counsel in intellectual property cases on a regular basis.
