Former Prickett Jones Director, Gary F. Traynor, appointed to the Delaware Supreme Court.
June 07, 2017
On June 7, 2017, the Delaware Senate confirmed Governor John Carney’s nominee, Gary F. Traynor, to fill the Delaware Supreme Court seat left vacant by Justice Randy J. Holland’s retirement.
Mr. Traynor was our colleague at Prickett Jones for 25 years until 2015 when he chose to serve Delaware’s citizens as an Assistant Public Defender in Sussex County. Mr. Traynor served as the firm’s Managing Director from 2006 through 2008. Prickett Jones, which was founded in 1888, attributes much of its longevity and success to the long-term relationships it has been fortunate to have with distinguished lawyers such as Mr. Traynor over the past 129 years. Prickett Jones is very proud of its long history as a member of the Delaware legal community and grateful that Mr. Traynor was a significant part of that history for the past quarter-century.
We congratulate our colleague and friend on this well-earned honor.
