Prickett Jones director Paul Fioravanti served as editor for “Court of Chancery of the State of Delaware – 1792-2017,” a one-volume history commemorating the 225th anniversary of the Court of Chancery. The book examines the Court of Chancery’s evolution over time to become the preeminent forum for business disputes in the United States.

Mr. Fioravanti and fellow Prickett Jones director Michael Hanrahan contributed an article on “The Delaware Court of Chancery: 1992-2017.” Mr. Hanrahan also was an author of two other articles in the volume: “Chancellor William T. Quillen and the Past and Future of the Court of Chancery” and, with the Hon. William T. Quillen, “A short History of the Delaware Court of Chancery: 1792-1992.” Other contributors to the book include Delaware Governor John C. Carney, Delaware Supreme Court Chief Justice Leo E. Strine, Jr., and Chancellor Andre G. Bouchard.

Messrs. Hanrahan and Fioravanti practice in the areas of corporate and general litigation at Prickett Jones. They have co-authored previous articles concerning the history of the Court of Chancery and the Delaware Chancery judiciary.
